Dorothea Alice HAESSIG died July 4 2012 in Coos Bay, Coos, Oregon, USA.

She was a great mom. Oldest daughter. She took care of her sister while her parents worked. After High school she joined the Navy. After the Navy she went to Vallejo Community College. She meet my dad and they got married. They first lived in Oakland, California and later they bought a house in Concord. When my little brother started school my mom went back to work as a nurses aid. Later in 1973 my parents moved to Oregon because my dad was having trouble finding work. He ended up working in Eugene. He would come home on weekends. My dad ended up Working on the Oil pipe line up at Barrows, Alaska. I think that while he was up there he had a stroke. He changed while he was up there. Soon after that my parents got divorced. Mom still had the house in Coos Bay and Dad lived in Eugene. Mom started working in the local Hospital in Housekeeping. She retired from there.
