Charles Samuel Wullner, USN (Ret), of Irmo, formerly of Walterboro, died Frebruary 28, 2002, in Columbia.
Mr. Wullner was born September 18, 1921, in Lebanon, Ind., a son of the late Arthur Christopher Wullner and Laura Mahler Wullner.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Walterboro and was a Mason and Shriner.
Charles was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theatre and was a former prisoner of war on Guadalcanal.
Surviving are, his wife, Evelyn Sanders Wullner of Irmo, a son, Charles Samuel Wullner, Jr., of Irmo, a sister, Mary Alice Goins of Westfield, IN, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, at the chapel of the Fred Parker Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Posey Belcher. Interment will be in Live Oak Memorial Cemetery, Walterboro.
