Jacques GODEFROY dit CHATEAU  was born 29 September 1732 in St Eugène, Saône-et-Loire, Bourgogne, France.  Jacques died 23 May 1824 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre). 

Marie-Marguerite DIDIER died 12 June 1818 in Sorel, Lower Canada .
