Jean-François RAINVILLE dit MIRET  was born 7 December 1771 in Beauport, Québec, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité-de-Beauport).  Jean-François died 19 September 1833 in Marieville, Rouville, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marie-de-Monnoir).  Jean-François was the child of Paul-Vincent RAINVILLE dit MIRET and Marie-Louise MAGNAN.
