from Rootsweb.com "Daniel Mosher, b. Dartmouth 1 Jul 1709, was apparently the "old Mr. Moger" who d. Sherman CT 1772. The odd spelling of the name can be attributed to the presence in the congregation of descendants of Samuel Moger of Newtown. Daniel is said to have m. bef 1728 Elizabeth Wood, but no corroborating evidence has been found. He was in Oblong, Dutchess Co. New York when he m. Sharon CT, by Ephraim Hubbel, J.P., 4 Apr 1748 Anne Juwitt."
