Basile DUFRESNE  was born 6 July 1792 in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  Basile died 21 February 1831 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Basile was the child of Jacques-Michel DUFRESNE and Angélique-Geneviève BLANCHARD dite RENAUD.
