Paul DESMARAIS dit CHAMPAGNE  was born 10 June 1784 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Paul died 4 January 1826 in Saint-Jude, Québec, Canada.  Paul was the child of Michel DESMARAIS and Marie-Thérèse JEAN dite VIENS.
