Pasquale Antonio Morganelli
MORGANELLI, Pasquale Antonio 90, a longtime resident of Quincy, died Sunday July 29, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton after a brief illness. Born in Boston, he was a son of the late Orazio A. and Susan M. (Morganelli) Morganelli.
Mr. Morganelli earned his BS in Teaching from Fitchburg State College, and went on to join the the United States Navy in 1945 as an apprentice seaman during WW II, and later as seaman first class until 1951. In 1954, he enlisted in the Army Reserve, with the rank of Sergeant, and was assigned to the 418th Engineer Aviation Brigade. During this assignment, he was promoted to master sergeant, and received a commission as a warrant officer while serving with the Army Corps of Engineers in 1958.
He completed courses at several Army schools, and held many assignments in the engineers, adjutant general corps and the criminal investigation division. Mr. Morganelli worked for many years with the Boston office of...Read MORE...
