Joseph POIRIER  was born 31 March 1779 in Carleton-sur-Mer, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Carleton) (St-Omer).  Joseph died 17 July 1835 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Joseph was the child of Hilaire POIRIER and Angelique DUGAS.
