Jean-Baptiste  married  Marguerite BRIEN dite DESROCHES 6 November 1752 in Saint-Ours, Canada, New France .  Marguerite BRIEN dite DESROCHES  was born abt. 1732 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Marguerite died 15 August 1775 in Boucherville, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Famille-de-Boucherville).  Marguerite was the child of Seraphin BRIEN dit DESROCHES and Ursule REGEAS dite LAPRADE.
