Elmer, also called Al, was a wanderer. He moved the family from North Bay in 1961 to Calgary where we lived in over 7 different homes until he moved the family again in a milk truck renovated with bunks to a lakeside camp ground in Kelowna for 6 months before moving into an old farm house. We kived there for 3 years before he moved most of the family to Prince George Where he was an addictions counsellor and then to Victoria, where he became ill.
