Alverta Mae Miller, of Manheim, Dies at 78
Alverta Mae Miller, 78, of 17 Morning Glory Lane, Manheim died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Lancaster Community Hospital where she had been a patient since Sept. 25.
She was the widow of Franklin L. Miller, who died in April 1971. Mrs. Miller was an office worker at the U.S. Asbestos Co. for 20 years before retiring in 1965.
Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late C. Edgar and Bertha N. Myers Shank. She is survived by a sister, Annette Krushinski, and a brother, Mervin M. Shank, both of Fairborn, Ohio.
