On July 22, 1944 she married George Reschke at St. Mathews Lutheran Church in Benton Harbor. The sign on the side of their car stated 'Watch Derby Grow'.
Evelyn was an employee of The 1900 Corporation in her early years, but in 1956 Evelyn, her husband, Father and Father-in-law started Metal Processors Co. in her garage on Roosevelt Rd in Stevensville. She and George retired in the early eighties.
She was very active in Ladies Aid, OWLS, and Women's Bible Study at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Evelyn and her Husband were instrumental in starting New Life Lutheran Church in Sebring, Florida.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, needle point, boating and camping at Camp Lor-Ray in Muskegon. She loved her home in...Read MORE...
