Joseph  married  (2) Madeleine PELLETIER 10 February 1772 in Rivière-Ouelle, Province of Québec, Canada .  Madeleine PELLETIER  was born 5 June 1737 in Rivière-Ouelle, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-Liesse).  Madeleine died 1 March 1806 in Saint-André, Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (St-Andre).  Madeleine was the child of Jean-François PELLETIER and Marie-Madeleine MORIN.
