Agathe  married  Sulpice-Pierre LESCARBOT (LESCARBEAU) 17 October 1763 in L'Assomption, Province of Québec, Canada .  Sulpice-Pierre LESCARBOT (LESCARBEAU)  was born 22 February 1737 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada.  Sulpice-Pierre died 30 September 1777 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Sulpice-Pierre was the child of Pierre-Sulpice LESCARBOT (LESCARBEAU) and Marie-Louise BOUSQUET.

Agathe  married  (2) Jacques-Basile GREGOIRE 19 September 1780 in L'Assomption, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Jacques-Basile GREGOIRE  was born 21 July 1734 in Neuville, Portneuf, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-de-Sales).  Jacques-Basile died 12 March 1810 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Jacques-Basile was the child of Basile GREGOIRE and Clemence PROULX.

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
