Antoine Pelletier arrived in New France in 1641 with his older brother Guillaume. In 1644 Guillaume gave Antoine some land in the area of Les Chutes Momonrency. On August 17, 1647 Antoine married Françoise Morin. On October 3, 1647 Antoine drowned when he may have taken his canoe too close to the Falls. He was buried in Québec City on the same day. His land then reverted to Guillaume.
