Michel-Hippolyte  married  Marie-Amable DUPLESSIS 4 November 1765 in Yamachiche, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Amable DUPLESSIS  was born 30 November 1742 in Yamachiche, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche).  Marie-Amable died 24 October 1768 in Louiseville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup).  Marie-Amable was the child of Jean Baptiste DUPLESSIS dit LENOBLET and Françoise VACHER dite LACERTE.

Michel-Hippolyte JOYAL died 7 June 1803 in St-Léon le Grand, Maskinongé, Quebec, Canada.
