Etienne  married  Marie-Madeleine CHARRON 3 February 1739 in Beaumont, Canada, New France .  Marie-Madeleine CHARRON  was born 8 November 1714 in Saint-Pierre-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Madeleine died 22 May 1795 in Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Madeleine was the child of Jean-Baptiste CHARRON dit LAFERRIÈRE and Genevieve DUPIL (DUPILLE).

Etienne SAMSON died 4 February 1743 in Lauzon, Lévis, Canada, New France .
