Roch THOUIN was the child of Pierre THOUIN   and   Anne-Catherine BEAUDOIN and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Jean-Baptiste THOUIN and Marie-Thérèse CADIEUX (maternal)  Guillaume BAUDOIN (BEAUDOIN) and Marie-Anne BOUDROT dite GRAVELLINE

Roch  married  Judith CHAGNON 4 October 1762 in Saint-Sulpice, Canada .  Judith CHAGNON  was born 5 May 1743 in Varennes, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-Varennes).  Judith died 24 August 1817 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Judith was the child of Pierre CHAGNON dit LAROSE and Marie-Madeleine FONTAINE.

Roch THOUIN died 3 December 1812 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada .





Thouin, Roch (1734-1812). Concessionnaire original de la terre #118 (#119 au livre terrier précédent) de la seigneurie de Rouville reçue du seigneur Jean-Baptiste-François Hertel de Rouville en 1771 ratifié devant notaire en 1785 et d'une autre terre reçue en 1782 par l'entremise de son procureur François-Xavier Noiseux curé de Belœil. Cette famille a vécu à L'Assomption et Belœil en 1774.

- Fils de Pierre Thouin et de Marie-Catherine Beaudoin.
- Il a épousé Marie-Angélique Chagnon à Saint-Sulpice (L'Assomption) en 1762.
- Père de Roch (1763), Didier (1764), Joseph (1766), Roch-Frédéric (1769), Charlotte (1774), Élisabeth (1776), Jean-Baptiste (1778) et Jean-Baptiste (1782).
- Décédé et inhumé à Saint-Hyacinthe.
