Jean-Baptiste  married  Marie-Louise PLANTE 25 February 1805 in Sorel, Lower Canada .  Marie-Louise PLANTE  was born 15 October 1786 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Marie-Louise died 3 January 1838 in Saint-Ours, Québec, Canada (Immaculée-Conception).  Marie-Louise was the child of Hermant-Armin-Germain PLANTE and Angélique CAPLET.

Jean-Baptiste BENOIT died 28 August 1809 in Sorel, Lower Canada .
