Joseph BERGERON was born 28 September 1776 in La-Pérade, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-la-Perade). Joseph died 7 July 1854 in Batiscan, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan) (Saint-François-Xavier). Joseph was the child of Joseph-Jean BERGERON and Marguerite-Francoise RIVARD.
From its inception in the early 1600s until 1760, it was called Canada, New France.

1791 to 1867 - Lower Canada
