Romeo J. Desjardins

RAYMOND -- Romeo Joseph Desjardins, 73, of 604 Kristy Court, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000.

He was born July 3, 1927, in Epping, the son of the late Daniel and Eva (Gamblin) Desjardins and had resided in Raymond for 22 years.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Desjardins was a machinist at Hampton Machine for more than 20 years. He had previously worked as a mechanic at Epping Garage for many years.

He is survived by three daughters, Diane Hurteau, Terri Hojaboom and Sam Desjardins, all of Brentwood; three grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Desjardins and Arthur Desjardins, both of Epping; two sisters, Leona Castle of Raymond and Rita Lawton of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister, Alice Brooks.

Graveside military services were held Tuesday in St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 27, Epping.

Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond.
