HENNESSEY Beryl Pettingill Hennessey, age 88 of Shelton, formerly of Stratford the widow of Ralph Hennessey passed away on Sunday December 12, 2010 in Bishop Wicke Health Center, Shelton. Mrs. Hennessey a retired Inspector for Ross and Roberts was born in Jay, Maine to the late Albert and Grace (French) Pettingill and has been a long time area resident. She was a 1940 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and attended Farmington College in Maine. Survivors include her 3 beloved daughters Paula Crosby and her husband Jack, Robin Dennis and her husband Michael, and Nancy Marcello and her husband Tom, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was pre-deceased by her son Richard and a granddaughter Dawn Smith. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday December 21st at 10a.m. in Union Cemetery Stratford, with Rev. Michael Merkel officiating.
