WARREN - Roland A. Bibeau, 82, of School St., Warren, died Monday, Jan. 6 at Quaboag on the Common, West Brookfield, after an illness. He was born in Southbridge, son of Joseph and Rose Livernois Bibeau. He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Catherine Doherty Bibeau; and by one brother, Edgar Bibeau. He leaves one sister, Doris Allard of Wilmington, MA; one brother, George Bibeau of Dudley; a daughter, Robin LLoyd of California; a granddaughter, several nieces & nephews. He was a Marine Corps veteran of WWII, serving on Guadalcanal and the South Pacific. He was a resident of Warren for 52 years. He was a communicant of St. Paul's Church of Warren, a choir member and also headed their Bingo program. He also conducted the Lions Club Variety Shows for a number of years. He retired from the MA Turnpike Authority in 1982. The funeral will be held from the Doherty Funreal Home, 40 Bacon St., Warren Saturday, Jan. 11, followed by a Mass in St. Thomas Acquinas Church at 11 a.m. in West Warren. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery. Calling hours 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10.
