THREE OF THE DEAD, A MOTHER AND TWO CHILDREN, WERE VISITING RESIDENTS OF ONE-ROOM HUT.

Cornish, N. H., May 15. - (AP) - Five persons lost their lives and another was seriously burned here today in a fire which destroyed a one-room cabin.
Officials investigating the happening believed that a kerosene explosion caused the fire.
The dead were:
MRS. WILLIAM GIBSON, 20.
Her daughter, ELIZABETH ANNA, 1.
MRS. BERTHA TALBOT, 29.
Her children, PAULINE, 7, and WILLIAM, JR., 3.
ROBERT FECTEAU, 15, was seriously burned.
The TALBOTS were visiting the GIBSON family, which occupied the cabin. Young FECTEAU told the authorities that he saw the flames and ran to the cabin. He attempted to rescue his sister, MRS. TALBOT. He managed to drag her to the door but his clothing was afire and he was forced to run to safety. He ran to his home where relatives beat out the flaming clothes.
