Caldwell--Funeral services for Benjamin W. Orcutt, 90, 512 Blaine, who died Sunday, will be conducted at the Flahiff Chapel at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Bruce C. Johnson of the Free Methodist Church will officiate. Caldwell Lodge No. 10, IOOF, will conduct interment rites at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Orcutt was born August 1, 1877, at Rockland, Mass. He moved west to Montana and Washington in 1905, and later came to Idaho. He Moved to Kansas in 1906, and married Bessie A. Shewey, December 04, 1907, in Norton, Kansas. The couple located at Caldwell, Idaho, in 1920. Mrs. Orcutt died February 11, 1965, in Caldwell. He was a member of the Caldwell Odd Fellows Lodge No. 10, Knights of Khorusan, and Knights of Phthias No. 3 of Boise.
Surviving are two grandsons, Robert Orcutt and Donald Orcutt, both of Caldwell; a grandmother, Mrs. Joanne McDanial of LaGrande, Ore; a brother, Standly Orcutt of Chico, Calif; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Orcutt, in 1949.
