PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Ernestine (Humphrey) Bachulus, 85, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and formerly a longtime resident of Longmeadow, Mass., a real estate agent for the former Trend Realty in Longmeadow, died Sunday, Aug. 22 at home.

Born in Pittsfield, she attended Pittsfield schools, and graduated from Peter Bent Brigham Hospital School of Nursing in Boston. She had resided in Longmeadow for 50 years before moving to Florida in 1987.

She was a member of South Congregational Church in Springfield for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Longmeadow Country Club and the Million Dollar Club, and was a bridge enthusiast. Her husband, Dr. Matthew J. Bachulus, died in 1958.

She leaves two daughters, Joan B. Collins of Lake Park, Fla., and Judith Bachulus of Framingham two grandsons, and one great-grandchild. Another daughter, Ann B. Hanzl, died in 1979.

A graveside service will be conducted at Longmeadow Cemetery Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 14. There are no calling hours. Dickinson-Streeter Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - A graveside service for Ernestine (Humphrey) Bachulus, 85, formerly of Longmeadow, Mass., will be held Tuesday afternoon at Longmeadow Cemetery.

She died Aug. 22 at her home in Florida.

She was a Longmeadow resident for over 50 years, and was a former real estate agent for the former Trend Realty, now Coldwell Banker Trend Reality.

Dickinson-Streeter Funeral Service in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
