MRS. WILLIAM STRANGFORD
"EASTHAMPTON - Mrs. Anna Louise (Bader) Strangford, 82, of 17 School St. died Thursday in her home. She was the widow of William A. Strangford who died in 1952. Born in Holyoke, Oct. 26, 1884, daughter of Casper Karl and Augusta (Theinert) Bader, she attended Southampton schools and spent her early life in that town. She came here several years ago and made her home with her sister, Mrs. Albert E. Brouilette. She was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Springfield and of the mother church in Boston. She leaves three brothers, Edward C. Bader or Ellesmere, Ky., Charles A. Bader of Glastonbury, Conn., and George H. Bader of Covington, Ky., and two sisters, Mrs. Brouilette and Mrs. Jesse H. Pratt of this town. A private funeral will be held Saturday at 2 at Edmund B. Mitchell & Son funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Brookside Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9."
