Sherman Smith SALISBURY
1910 - Sales Agent Salisbury - Auburn Man will Handle Kavmor Presses in Western Territory
Sherman S. Salisbury, who since the beginning of the Citizen's career has had charge of the Job department, signed a contract in New York yesterday by which he becomes general agent, with offices in Chicago, of the Kavmor Automatic Press Company. This concern is the one that wanted to locate in Auburn some time ago but whose plant was established in Philadelphia, Pa., where its business is increasing by leaps and bounds. It maintains its principal offices in New York and in the past few months has secured some most important contracts. Mr. Salisbury will open his office for the concern in Chicago during the first week in January and his territory will include Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, and South Dakota.
Mr. Salisbury is one of the best known printers in this section. When it comes to the practical end of the game there are few who are better equipped. He started in the business when a mere boy, learned it from A. to Izzard and has had the benefit of a big experience in the equipment and management of plants. He brings the benefit of all this experience to his new position and his many Auburn friends are confident that he will win the success that merit deserves.
