Obituary



Joseph L. Boisclair, beloved husband, father, Papa and Great Papa, went home to our Heavenly Father July 2, 2006. Joseph was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on December 31, 1927. He was the eldest of four brothers. Joseph and his wife, Lorraine, moved to California in 1958, where they made their home in Pomona. He worked at Pasco Steel, Carnation Dairy Co., Bank of America and retired from Far Western Bank in the 90's. After retiring, he didn't like staying home, so he then went to work for Western University in Pomona as a Security Guard for several years. Joseph and his wife of 48 years raised two daughters, Wendy Hernandez of Corona and Cindy Boisclair of Chino Hills. During the girls' high school years, Joe served as President of the Garey High School Booster Club, which he loved with a passion and always held a special place in his heart for all the students and staff that he shared that time with. In addition to his wife , Lorraine and his two daughters, Wendy and Cindy, Joseph is survived by his son-in-law, Victor Hernanedz Jr; four granddaughters, Kylee, Kacey, Tabitha and Kristy; and three great-grandchildren, Chase, Alyssa and Andrew. He also leaves behind many, many close relatives and friends who will always have special memories of this wonderful man. Memorial Services will be held at Pomona Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, 502 E. Franklin Ave., Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the VNA Hospice, 150 W. First St., Claremont, CA 91711. Todd Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
