Edgar "Paul" Miller passed away July 22, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born June 12, 1937, in Woodburn, a son of James Luther Miller and Bertha O. Miller on April 24, 1959. He married Betty Jean Orange in Bowling Green.
Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Paul worked at Alton Packaging that later was bought out by Jefferson Smurfit Corp in Bowling Green. He supported the Boy’s Club of Bowling Green and is a member of First Apostolic Church in Bowling Green. He was an avid golfer and loved to joke around and make people laugh. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, James Luther and Bertha Miller; sons, Douglas Miller in 2011 and James Miller in 2014; brothers, David (Nubby) Miller and Edmund Miller; sisters, Irene Russell, JoAnne and Mary Francis Waters.
Paul is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Miller of Bowling Green; daughters, Sharon E. (Danny) McGowan, Judi C. Pearson and Kathy J. (Brian) Bobbett, all of Bowling Green; son, Kenneth P. Miller of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Flourine Lindsey of Brownsville and Lena VanMeter; along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral celebrating Paul’s life is 11 a.m. Monday at Cone Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Still Cemetery. Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
