Obituary
Charles T. Blessing, 68, painter at the State Capitol for nearly eight years, died last night at the Hartford Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Pittsfield, MA, and had resided in this city for nearly twenty-five years. He leaves his wife, Frances M. Blessing of this city seven sons Charles Henry Blessing of Glastonbury, Albert Blessing of Shelton. Burton J Blessing of Wethersfield, Theodore R Blessing, Joseph Blessing, Frank Blessing, and George A. Blessing of this city three daughters, Mrs. Frances Stutz of East Hartford, and Mrs. May Hansen and Mrs. Etta Hansen of this city twenty three grandchildren two sisters, Mrs. Annie Jasse of Meriden, CT and Mrs. S. G. Bourgarde of Binghamton, NY, and three brothers, George Blessing of Ninevah, NY, Henry Blessing of Meriden, CT and Fred Blessing of Brooklyn, NY, the funeral will be held Tuesday morning at the funeral rooms of Whitney, Champion & Woodbury. No. 65 Buckingham Street, Rev. Dr. George T. Linsley, rector of the Church of Good Shepard, will officiate.
