News
James Mack, 35, years old, was burned to death, and Ernest Starke, 21 years old, received burns from which he died later in Hackensack Hospital, when an automobile truck driven by Mack turned over about five miles south of Hackensack and caught fire early yesterday morning. The men, both of whom lived in New Milford, were taking a truck load of peaches to New York from New Milford. After leaving Little Ferry they lost their way and struck a bad road, upsetting in a ditch. Mack was pinned under the truck and Starke, badly hurt himself, was unable to ectricate him before he was dead.
