Plans are shaping up favorably for the Kayaderosseras camping season. Two counselors have been obtained, Miss Elizabeth Drachler of Greene, N. Y., and Miss Grace Drachler, Goshen, N. Y., sisters. The former teaches in public school in Richfield Springs. She has been leader of a Girl Scout troop there during the last winter season and is partial to outdoor cooking, dramatics, folk dancing and singing. The latter sister teaches music at Goshen and has had training as a Scout leader at Middletown, N. Y. She excels in swimming, outdoor cooking and crafts, such as painting, sketching and making sundry articles. The Drachler sisters will be in charge of the two units of camp, uphill and downhill.

Brownies Discover Camp Adventures

The Brownie Scout camp at Camp Kayaderosseras has opened with a round of exciting activities for the eight and nine-year-old Girl Scouts.

The Sunset Hill Unit, newly named last night at a campfire, learned how to stake the young Norway spruce to protect them from pedestrians. The camp garden has had a good weeding and thinning out by the nimble fingers of the campers.

Misses Betty Drachler and Gertrude Myers, leaders of Sunset unit, led the girls on a bird hike this morning and finished off the morning activities by gathering raspberries. Brownies will preserve them tonight under the guidance of Miss Grace Drachler, leader of the Sleepy Hollow unit.
