(Special to The Messenger)
Brattleboro, Nov. 19 - Albert Clement, employed by Charles Walker, of Dummerston, fell from a ferry boat into the Connecticut river last night and was drowned. Clement had been to the "Jack" Allen resort in Chesterfield, N. H., across the river from Dummerston, and was returning when a companion saw him fall into the river, but was powerless to aid him. The body was not seen again and on account of the darkness it is not known whether he came to the surface or not. Clement was about 25 years old. He had no family and the place of his home is not known.
