Northfield, a post-hamlet in Northfield township, Summit co., O., near the Ohio Canal, 1 mile from Macedonia Station, and about 18 miles S.S.E. of Cleveland. The town ship is bounded W. by the Cuyahoga River, and contains Macedonia village. Pop. of the township, 1009.
