Monroe, a post - village in Monroe township, Grafton co., N.H., on the Connecticut River, about 17 miles N. of Haverhill, and 1 mile E. of the Passumpsic Railroad. It has a church, and manufactures of lumber and sash and blinds. Pop. of the township, 532.
