Southport is a town located in Lincoln County, Maine, United States. It is situated on a peninsula in the southern part of the state and is known for its picturesque coastal beauty, historical significance, and maritime heritage.
Southport is situated on a peninsula that separates the Sheepscot River and the Damariscotta River, both of which flow into the Gulf of Maine. The town is bordered by the towns of Boothbay Harbor and Boothbay to the east, and the town of Edgecomb to the west.
