North Berwick, Maine
York county. This town was incorporated in 1831, and was taken from the east side of Berwick. It comprises a fine tract of land; it is well watered and very pleasant. Population, 1837, 1,493. It lies 91 miles S.W. from Augusta and 13 N.W. from York.
1906 - North Berwick
North Berwick, a banking post-village in North Berwick township (town), York co., Me., on the Boston and Maine R., 38 miles SW. of Portland. It has woollen-mills and plough-factories, etc. Pop. of the town in 1900, 1748.
