Saint-Timothée is located in the seigniory of Beauharnois, granted by King Louis XV to the Marquis de Beauharnois, in 1729. Saint-Timothée is then called "Pointe-aux-Érables".

1817: There are 60 families in Saint-Timothée. Most of them crossed the river from the village opposite, Les Cèdres, but also from L'Ile-Perrot.

1819: A first chapel is built. It is served by the parish priest of Cedars. The first resident priest arrived in 1828.

1823 - St-Timothée (Beauharnois) is established.

1842-1845: Construction of the Beauharnois Canal and strike of the Irish workers.

1844: A first church is built in Saint-Timothee. It burns in 1908 to be rebuilt in 1909.
