New Victoria (2001 pop.: 1,093) is a community in Nova Scotia's Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

New Victoria is located west of New Waterford and east of Victoria Mines. It is approximately 10 kilometres north of Sydney.

It is a small, close-knit community which has a small church (St. Joseph's Church-Roman Catholic) and a lighthouse named the Low Point Lighthouse.

(New Victoria) - Low Point LIghthouse built in 1832
After 1826, the General Mining Association consolidated the various coal mines around Sydney Harbour and greatly increased the shipping of coal to ports on the Atlantic coast. In support of this effort, a lighthouse was built at Low Point in 1832 to aid vessels entering Sydney harbour.
(New Victoria) - Fort Petrie was constructed in 1939 for the defense of Sydney Harbour.
Fort Petrie is located in New Victoria, on the eastern shore of Sydney Harbour, on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
