Saint-Sauveur, Québec, Canada - Église du Saint-Sauveur 205, rue Principale, Saint-Sauveur, QUÉBEC Established 1853 Source: Google maps

The parish of Saint-Sauveur was incorporated in 1855, but it was in 2002, following the merger of Saint-Sauveur and Saint-Sauveur-des-Monts that the current town was created. It has nearly nine thousand Sauveroises and Sauverois and stretches over approximately 48 square kilometers in the Laurentians. The municipality is part of the Regional County Municipality of Pays-d'En-Haut.

A curious historical fact: the parish of Saint-Sauveur was initially baptized “La Circumcision” by the famous Curé Labelle, the King of the North.

The city of Saint-Sauveur is a resort municipality nestled in the hollow of the mountains, and the city is a place of relaxation for Montrealers, Canadians and Americans who love nature, skiing and good food.
