Hope Town, Québec, Canada

"Located in the very heart of Baie-des-Chaleurs, the Township of Hope was erected as a municipality in 1855 under the name of "Municipality of the Township of Hope". The territory of this municipality then extended from Paspébiac West to Port Daniel. Frenchmen, Loyalists, Irishmen, Scotsmen and Englishmen came to settle there. They built their houses, their churches, their schools, thus sharing their different cultures over the years."
