Clarence-Rockland is a city in Eastern Ontario, Canada, in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell on the Ottawa River. Clarence-Rockland is located immediately to the east of Ottawa and is considered part of Canada's National Capital Region in the census.

The city was formed on January 1, 1998, through the amalgamation of the Town of Rockland with Clarence Township.

The city includes the communities of Bourget, Cheney, Clarence, Clarence Creek, Hammond, Rockland, and Saint-Pascal-Baylon.

1893 - Two Sisters Struck and Killed by Lightning
Ottawa, July 25. - ...Word has reached the city of a shocking fatality at Clarence Creek, back in Russell county, in Saturday's thundertorm, by lightning striking the house of J. B. Landry and killing his two daughters, aged 13 and 10, while their mother, who was sitting in the kitchen with them, was not seriously injured. The girls were pretty and general favorites.
