1929 - Lighning strikes on an interesting marriage
During a violent electrical storm on April 1, 1929, a lightning strike reached the bell tower of the church and it was destroyed by fire, just like the neighboring convent, despite all the efforts made to avoid the worst convent burnt down. In addition, two people lost their lives as a result of this accident; a nun who did not survive the consequences of the brutal move and a man named Auguste Delagrave who had the council table blown over him. That very morning, we had celebrated a rather unusual wedding: that of a 16-year-old girl with a 57-year-old man. It is not without some comments that people have always remembered this fact.
