The municipality of Sainte-Eulalie is located in the administrative region of Center-du-Québec and forming part of the Regional Municipality of County of Nicolet-Yamaska.
According to the Sainte-Eulalie website, the canonical erection of Sainte-Eulalie was decreed in 1857 and the parish was established as a civil municipality by proclamation of the Monk Government in 1862.
It is an agricultural parish which is distinguished by milk production, the cultivation of potatoes, the breeding of ostriches, and the production of honey.
In the fall of 1861, Mr. Noé Tourigny began to clear the first lot of the concession. Most of the settlers who settled in the parish at the beginning of colonization came from Sainte-Grégoire, several families were of Acadian descent.
The first church was erected in 1872.
