1855 - Église de Saint-Robert established at Saint-Robert
It was canonically constituted in 1855 after separating from the municipality of Saint-Pierre-de-Sorel. Then, in 1857, Saint-Robert was incorporated. The origin of the name remains unknown, but some sources indicate that this name is due to a certain Mr. Robert who owned land in these places at the time of the constitution of the municipality.
