New-Fairfield is an inconsiderable town, situated in the northwest section of the county, 64 miles distant from Hartford, and is bounded on the north by Sherman, on the east by New-Milford, in Litchfield county, and Brookfield, on the south by Danbury and Ridgefield, and on the west by the State of New-York. Its average length is 5 miles, and its average breadth 4 and a half miles, comprising 22 and a half square miles...
