The Orton Tavern Woodbury CT. Built around 1730 by John Orton and remained in the family for 150 years. in 1922 the home was purchased by Miss M.L. Munn of Great Neck Long Island, NY and was to be incorporated into a home being built for her. Miss Munn died shortly after the Tavern was dismantled and the building was lost to history.
