Here lyes buried ye body of Mr. James Blake who departed this life October 22, 1732, aged 80 years & 2 months. He was a member in full communion of the Christ of Christ in Dorchester about 55 years and a Deacon of the same church about 23 hears.

Seven years strong pain doth end at last
His weary days and nights are past
The ways is rought, the end is peace
Short pain gives place to endless ease.
